Vogue Magazine

Vogue Magazine is a monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine based in New York and covers fashion, beauty, culture, living and runway. The magazine was first published in 1892 and was a weekly magazine but after consideration and decision making the Vogue became a monthly magazine years after. 

With over 2.7 million people who read Vogue for all their fashion and lifestyle needs i felt as though this would be the perfect place to start. I wanted to use the magazine to gather styles for my subjects to wear as i want to shape them into a celebrity icon that you may end up following yourself. However, many of the outfits are very expensive and as a student i will need to find some alternatives without losing the same effect that some of the Vogue pictures can offer. Now i'am not using the images from the magazine to copy from the way they have taken them but i am looking at the way they present the individuals and also showing off the clothes as a celebrity can be defined by their outfit.

In conclusion, i will look and gather what works well and what may be included in my own work and add them to my fashion mood board that i will look back on every time i go out on another shoot.
