Week 3 Review

So this week has been tough with the project. I have had a couple of tutorials and group discussions in the past 2 weeks. In my opinion i am beginning to feel as though my project has no purpose or meaning and basing it around fashion and celebrity life is becoming unrealistic in order to achieve a successful project upon hand in.

The idea initially was to make intrusive work with my subjects in order to replicate the style of paparazzi style photos you may find in magazines or on social media. I was then attempting to use a variety of influencers on social media along with magazines such as GQ and Vogue to help produce a style of outfit in order to really sell the celebrity look. But, upon tutorial we discussed and began to realise that my friends are not celebrities and i don't have the budget that these big magazine companies gather for shoots. My photos don't give off the same impression as some of the other work does. Furthermore, i'am spending the next week considering some new ideas away from fashion photography that can help lift my work into a more detailed and complex body of work that provides meaning and understanding carefully and concise. For the next week my aim is to collect some ideas that have images to back up the ideas and have some group discussions to decide on what is best moving forward.

In conclusion, i still feel as though i have plenty of time with setting an idea for my project and that with helpful tutorials and lectures i will be able to progress at a very comfortable and steady rate.
